Online Interac Payment


Interac Email Money Transfer is a service that transfers money directly from your personal bank account to anyone who has an email address and a personal bank account at a Canadian financial institution.

 

Step 1: Register

Go to your financial institution’s online banking portal to register for Interac Email Money Transfer service on system. Participating financial institutions include: BMO Bank of Montreal, CIBC, RBC Royal Bank, Scotiabank and TD Canada Trust.

 

Step 2: Add Recipient

After registering, you will add the name and email of the recipient to your personal Recipient List. The name you should enter is UMER JAVED KHAWAJA, JMSB French Coach VP-Finance:

* JMSB Business French Club holds a TD Canada Trust business account.


Then, create a Security Question & Answer specific to each recipient. This Security Question & Answer is used to ensure the identity of the recipient. If the question is not answered correctly, you will be advised via email and instructed as to how to deposit the money back into your account.

This is the question that should be entered and the answer to it:

Step 3: Send Money

After completing a 'Send Money' request and receiving a confirmation number, the money will be withdrawn immediately from your account. An email will be sent to the recipient advising them of the Interac Email Money Transfer along with instructions on how to collect the money.

Here is a reminder of the JMSB French Coach registration fees:

$65 for JMSB graduate/undergraduate students/Concordia Alumni

$100 for non-JMSB (Concordia) graduate/undergraduate students

 

Step 4: Complete Transfer

Once the recipient has deposited the money into their bank account, you will receive an email notification confirming the completion of the transfer.
